Heinäkuussa 2021, Suomessa kirjattiin 3,3 miljoonaa rekisteröityä yöpymistä (+29,6 %), joista kotimaisia oli 3,2 miljoonaa ja ulkomaalaisten tekemiä 186 000 yötä. Näin ollen suomalaisten rekisteröidyt yöpymiset lisääntyivät 29 prosenttia ja ulkomaalaiset rekisteröidyt yöpymiset lisääntyivät 31 prosenttia. Yhteensä yöpymiset lisääntyivät 30 prosenttia viime vuoden heinäkuusta. Vapaa-ajan matkailijat viettivät 2,8 miljoonaa yötä (+27,6 %) ja business-matkailijat 504 000 yötä (+41,8 %).
