Guayaquilissa Samborondónin kanttonissa Ecuadorissa valmistui 6/2022 uusi golfkenttä ja laaja urheilupuisto. Uusi GCC sijaitsee yhdessä Ecuadorin parhaista asuinalueista Samborondónissa kiehtovan Babahoyo-joen äärellä ja lähellä Guayaquilin lentokenttää.
Trooppinen ilmasto
Trooppisen ilmaston ansiosta voit pelata golfia, urheilla ja elää mainiosti Ecuadorin Tyynenmeren rannikolla 365 päivää vuodessa tasaisessa +30°C (+/-1°C) lämpötilassa.

Golfkentän ovat suunnitelleet Robert Trent Jones Jr:n suunnittelujohtaja Bruce Charton ja golfkentän arkkitehtonisten järjestelmien tunnettu asiantuntija Tony Altum.
Modernin suunnittelun ydin on klubitalo, jossa on 18-reikäinen golfkenttä, venesatama, urheilu- ja sosiaalinen alue, hevosurheilumahdollisuudet, semi-olympia ja vapaa-ajan uima-altaat sekä kolme jalkapallokenttää, yksi ammattilaisille ja kaksi keskikokoista kenttää, kahdeksan tenniskenttää, kaksi beachtenniskenttää, joella on myös alue melontaan ja vesihiihtoonn, joen tuntumaan rakennetaan keinotekoinen laguuni kaapeli-wakeboardille, kuntosali, joogahuone, kylpylä ja useita ravintoloita.
GCC-projekti on tärkeä työllistäjä Samborondón-kantonille rakentamisen aikana ja myöhemmin tärkeä nähtävyys urheilu- ja sosiaaliklubina, joka tarjoaa laajat palvelut. Samborondónin kunta valvoo Guayaquil Country Clubin sosiaalisen ja ekologisen vastuun toteutumista.
