Ecuador no es atractivo para inversión extranjera

Frecuentes cambios tributarios, falta de incentivos y una actualización al Código de Trabajo es para el analista Héctor Delgado y para el presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Quito, Patricio Alarcón, los motivos para que el país no sea atractivo ante los inversionistas extranjeros.

“Actualmente no existen las condiciones necesarias para inversión extranjera porque para atraer inversión extranjera se necesita reformas en materia laboral, tributaria y agilidad de procesos para constituciones de compañías. Tenemos un Código Laboral muy antiguo que no está de acuerdo a las nuevas prácticas; en lo tributario hay un sinnúmero de impuestos que muchos de ellos cambian de la noche y en la mañana y no hay una debida planificación o una estrategia para que las compañías puedan hacer”, dice Delgado.

Mientras que Alarcón indica que la falta de seguridad jurídica es otro de los motivos.

“No hay condiciones para atraer inversión extranjera, la falta de seguridad jurídica, cambios constantes en las leyes, un decreto de anticipo al impuesto a la renta, una ley de simplicidad tributaria que incrementó el impuesto a los dividendos a las empresas internacionales. (…), entonces es muy difícil en este momento atraer la inversión extranjera que ya es bajísima y mientras no existan cambios estructurales y una reforma tributaria eso no se va a dar”, apunta.en
