Celine Boutier had an exceptional beginning, sinking consecutive birdies on her first two holes and adding another birdie on the fifth, reaching the turn with a score of 32 (-3) and strengthening her position at the top of the leaderboard.
Although she faced a setback with a dropped shot on the 13th hole, the determined Frenchwoman swiftly recovered, securing a birdie on the 15th hole. With confidence, she gracefully approached the 18th hole, making a par that sealed her victory with an outstanding total of 14-under-par.
Winning her first major title is a remarkable achievement, and her performance has elevated her to the ninth position in the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol.
