Alexa Pano, a young and talented golfer, had a truly unforgettable birthday as she emerged victorious at the ISPS HANDA World Invitational Presented by AVIV Clinics.

Pano’s journey to victory was not an easy one. With rounds of 76, 70, 69, and 66, she finished the tournament with an impressive total of eight-under-par. This placed her in a playoff against Germany’s Esther Henseleit and England’s Gabriella Cowley, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already exhilarating event.
As the playoff began, Pano and Cowley both managed to make birdies on the first hole, forcing them to return to the tee for another attempt. Despite a wayward tee shot that found the trees, Pano showcased her composure and skill by making a crucial par on the second playoff hole.

Meanwhile, Cowley missed her birdie putt, keeping the playoff alive. The tension continued to mount as the players headed back to the 18th tee for the third playoff hole.
Showing her mettle, Pano executed an impressive approach shot, enabling her to secure a birdie with just two putts. This birdie proved to be the defining moment of the playoff, securing Pano her first-ever title on both the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour.
