Info LATAM USA Canada – MP 22 Motorcycle Show will be rescheduled to end of March

Due to the likelihood that public events restrictions will continue, MP 22 Motorcycle Show is rescheduled and will be arranged this spring 25 – 27 March 2022 at Messukeskus Helsinki.

MP 22 Motorcycle Show was planned to be arranged from 4 to 6 February 2022. Current public event restrictions are applied in the Helsinki Metropolitan area until 17 January. However, the Helsinki Metropolitan Area coronavirus coordination group has already recommended the regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland to extend restrictions regarding public events by two more weeks, i.e. until 31 January. The final decision on restrictions is made by the Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland.

Messukeskus made the decision to reschedule together with the commissioner of the Motorcycle Show, the Motorcycles section of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders.

”The Motorcycle show is a long-awaited event, both within the motorcycle branch as well as among motorcyclists. If the restrictions continue to the week of the fair, it makes organising the event in February impossible”, says Jarkko Tuomisto, Chairman of the Motorcycles section of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders. ”Fortunately, Messukeskus’ calender had one weekend available at the end of March this spring and we will at last be able to meet at the Motorcycle show.”

The continuously changing situation regarding restrictions creates uncertainty and is very challenging for both event organisers and companies participating in trade fairs. Messukeskus wants to act responsibly and ensure that all its customers have the possibility to fully prepare for the fair and thus secure a commercial success and health-safe participation. Messukeskus believes, that moving the Motorcycle show by seven weeks makes it possible to organise a successful event.

Tickets purchased for the February MP 22 Motorcycle show are eligible as such for the Motorcycle show in March.

Messukeskus annually organises the MP Motorcycle show at Messukeskus Helsinki on behalf of the Motorcycles section of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders. The MP 22 show will be organized on 25 – 27 March 2022 at Messukeskus Helsinki. The previous Motorcycle show was in 2020 and at that time the show was visited by over 55,000 motorcyclists.
