Haaga-Helian restonomitutkinnon opinnäytetyöstä selvisi, että Haaga-Helian ja Laurean restonomiopiskelijat uskovat koronapandemian vaikuttavan negatiivisesti valmistumisen jälkeiseen työllistymiseen. Positiivista kuitenkin on, että keskimäärin alalle haluttiin työllistyä ja omaan työllistymiseen uskottiin. Puolet restonomiopiskelijoista pohtii alanvaihtoa Korona on aiheuttanut haasteita matkailu-, majoitus- ja ravintola-alan yrittäjille sekä työntekijöille.
